Specific for external insulation. XPS insulation material is a rigid foam extruded polystyrene, thermoplastic in nature and with a closed cell structure with high dimensional stability.

High mechanical resistance: the high rigidity of the cellular structure, given the great homogeneity of the cells, also provides a very high capacity for mechanical resistance. This minimises the appearance of defects due to impact in vandal-prone, accessible, unprotected or protected and little-used areas of the façades.

Low water absorption: the closed cell structure of the XPS board determines its low water absorption capacity and minimises the appearance of defects due to moisture infiltration. No extrusion skin to improve adhesion with mortars.
